Herd Nerd Spice pulled pork
1 “Boston butt” pork shoulder (can be boneless or bone-in), 10 to 15 pounds
Rub a generous coating of herd nerd SPICE on all surfaces of the pork and press gently to make sure it sticks. Refrigerate at least 6 hours and up to 24 hours. If smoking: Prepare smoker with apple or hickory to run at 225°F to 275°F. Smoke pork until the interior registers 199°F, about 8 to 12 hours. If baking: Set oven for 225°F. Place pork on rack in baking tray and cook until until the interior registers 199°F, about 8 to 12 hours.
Serve on a bun with your favorite BBQ sauce and pickles.
